LEVEL 1:
Class emphasis is on learning basic belly dance technique while offering a great low-impact aerobic workout. The class is suitable for individuals 12 yrs of age and up and is appropriate for those little or no dance experience. All movements are thoroughly broken down and practice "homework" is given at the end of each class.
LEVEL 2:

Classes build onto the basic technique learned in Level I. Students will learn more complex combinations as well as choreography. We will cover finger cymbal and veil technique. It is recommended that students take the Level 1 class for at least 2-3 times before advancing to Level 2.
I pay attention to each student and make corrections ans necessary. In addition to learning belly dance technique, you will get an great cardio and strength workout!

Warm-up, Cool-down and Stretch!
All classes include a warm-up and cool-down. Classes are designed to increase strength, flexibility, balance, stamina, and overall fitness. Belly dance is a low impact workout. Over time, you will notice that your body will reap the benefits!
What to Bring/Wear:
Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move. Workout /yoga pants and a slim fitting top are perfect. No long skirts please! Bring a hip scarf or purchase in class. A mat or towel for floor work optional. Level 2 bring a veil and cymbals (if you have them).

THE PURSUIT OF DANCE & FITNESS!
PERIZAD is currently studying for her American Council on Exercise (ACE) certification. Her dedication spans both art and fitness. Toned abdominals and strong quads and glutes make for crisp movement and more freedom of expression!
